This week, I've noticed the kids struggling under the weight of their school bags. Thing 2 especially is leaning forward substantially in order to just walk from the car to class.
It occurred to me that this might not be okay.
Turns out I was right.
Which doesn't happen often.
Anyway, a little research later and I found this great infographic that spells out the dangers of incorrect backpack wearing and the right things to do. I was especially interested in the fact that the back should be no more that 10-15% of the child's body weight. Ours are way more so that changes today.
I hope you find it useful.
